Councilwoman Ana Maria Rodriguez Encourages Residents of Doral to Donate their Hair for Love.
June 2013, Councilwoman Ana Maria Rodriguez donates her hair to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization which provides hair pieces to children in the United States and Canada that our suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any type of diagnois.
Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to medical conditions. The prostheses provided by Locks of Love are of the hightest quality. By doing so, these children’s self-esteem is restored and they are able to face the challenges in their everyday world.
“This is the forth time that I have donated my hair. I encourage all Doral residents who have the ability to donate their hair, to please support the cause.” Said Councilwoman Rodriguez.

En el pasado mes de junio, la concejal Ana María Rodríguez donó su cabello a “Locks of Love” por un motivo muy especial.
“Locks of Love” es una organización pública sin fines de lucro que proporciona extensiones de cabello a los niños en los Estados Unidos y Canadá, por el sufrimiento de la pérdida de su cabello ante diversos diagnósticos medicos que han sido sometidos a largo plazo.
La mayoría de los niños que son ayudados por “Locks of Love” han perdido su cabello debido a condiciones médicas, pero las prótesis proporcionadas por “Locks of Love” son de la más alta calidad.
