Doral, FL- City of Doral, in collaboration with P.A.R.K. Project, will commemorate the lives lost during the 9/11 attacks and solemnly observe its’ 11th anniversary. Participants of the 5K Freedom Run will run, jog or walk alongside military personnel, veterans and first responders in appreciation of their sacrifices and commitment to service. The event will take place from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00pm on Saturday, September 8th at the J.C. Bermudez Park, 3000 NW 87th Ave., in Doral. The goal is to unite at least 2,000 PARKticipants and fundraise $50,000 in PARK GRANTS for five unsuspecting, South Florida based, non-profit organizations that support the military, veterans, first responders and service families year round.
