First of Six Planned OrthoNOW South Florida Franchises Opens in Weston.

OrthoNOW^®, the nation’s only Orthopedic Urgent Care Center Franchise, celebrated the grand opening of OrthoNOW^® Weston on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015. Located at the intersection of Griffin Road and Volunteer Road in the Regency Square Shopping Center, the center boasts a team of orthopedic specialists who treat broken bones, sprains, torn ligaments and muscles, cuts, sports medicine and workers compensation injuries.

The center is equipped with full imaging equipment and offers the latest techniques in surgical and non-surgical treatments by a team of physicians, orthopedic surgeons and orthopedic specialized ancillary providers. The center has an in-house digital X-ray, ARPwave for pain management and provides follow up care and rehabilitation. OrthoNOW® accepts most major insurance including Medicare.

This is the first of six South Florida franchises the group will open this year. The flagship clinic is located in Doral with additional facilities slated to open in Aventura, Pinecrest, Kendall, Biscayne and Boca Raton by the end of 2015. OrthoNOW^® is a revolutionary new concept in health care offering patients a money and time-saving alternative for orthopedic and sports medicine injuries by allowing for emergency access to orthopedic specialists.

The day included a public event during which area residents were invited to meet the staff, learn more about the center and enjoy snacks, beverages and more. Mayor Judy Paul, led off the evening’s official inauguration activities which included a ribbon cutting, along with Dan Lindblade, President Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Alejandro Badia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OrthoNOW^®, Dr. Brian J.
