Baltimore, MD – City of Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez was honored by the Latino Leaders Network during the United States Conference of Mayors annual meeting on June 19, 2011, held in Baltimore, Maryland, for his work to bring the Doral community together.

“I am honored to receive this recognition on behalf of the City of Doral residents for the work we have done to bring our diverse community together,” said Mayor Bermudez. “Through our hard work, we have been able to create a sense of unity within our community and a city of which we can all be proud.”

“The Latino Leaders Network is honored to host this Tribute to Mayors reception to recognize mayors who are helping to unite communities of all colors and inspire the Latino community in particular to get involved in support of their friends, family and neighbors,” noted Mickey Ibarra, Founder and Chairman of LLN.  “We are pleased to honor three mayors whose leadership has inspired their communities to find a common voice on issues of importance to all Americans, including Latinos.”
