Rodriguez Aguilera Declares Candidacy for Doral City Council

DORAL, FL – Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera today announced her intention to run for a seat on the Doral City Council. Rodriguez Aguilera, who currently serves as the Economic Developer for the City of Doral, filing the official paper work on Wednesday, July 13th.

“As economic developer my top priority has been to attract new business interest in Doral and grow the local economy,” said Rodriguez Aguilera.  “We have seen extensive progress in recent years and my main focus as a member of the Doral City Council will be to continue our city’s economic expansion.”

Rodriguez Aguilera filled paper work to formally declare her candidacy at 11:00 am on Wednesday July 13th at Doral City Hall. Immediately following her official filling, she held a media availability with local press.  Rodriguez Aguilera also spread the news via social media, inviting her fellow citizens to support her campaign through her official Facebook fan page – http://www.facebook.com/Bettina2012.

The race for Doral City Council is a non-partisan open race.  Three of the five seats will be vacated in the Doral City Council due to term limits.
